Context will overlap each other. For example, the way language is used in the media products to reflect the period in which it was written, relates to all three contexts  What is a social, historical and cultural context and how might it influence a media text?

Media context can influence many aspects of media texts. Social context is how media products reflect the society in which they are produced and that of their target audience. Historical context
is how media produces reflect events from the past and social changes. Cultural context is how media products reflect the arts and culture, including popular culture of time.

In society, many people dislike Muslims because they view them as being terrorists. Also, society often connote murderers and serial killers to be white. In many TV shows, social context is present. For example, in Cuffs a muslim man was killed just because of his race. Furthermore, the murderer group were all white.

In society, rich people are often presented as being stuck up and selfish, which is reflected into the TV show Scream Queens, as that's how the characters act. This makes the overall program more realistic as it's conforming to society's stereotypes.
